This is exactly what a Honda Super Cub distilled into a barstool would look like

What if you wanted to a Honda Super Cub but didn’t need it to actually go anywhere? Strip away all the motorcycle-y things about it and the Super Cub Chair Classic is what you’d get. Despite the name it’s more of a barstool than a chair, but for the Honda or Super Cub fanatic, it’s must-have garage decor.

The three-legged stool has legs made out of beechwood. Two legs are painted red while a third forward-facing leg is finished in the distinctive off-white of the Super Cub’s front fairing. Incredibly, the curvature of the legs somehow manage to evoke the Super Cub even though they don’t match any particular lines on the bike.

On top is the actual Super Cub saddle. These are contributed by Honda’s internal “.uppar” program for upcycling parts. Only seats that have reached their expiration date and would otherwise be discarded from Honda’s parts inventory are used for the stools. Because of the limited supply, only 100 of the stools will be made.

The Super Cub Chair Classic was designed by and will be built by Mokko no Den. Long time readers may remember the woodworking specialist as the creator of the Nissan Skyline and Fairlady Z chairs. The Super Cub stool will retail for ¥49,500 with a shipping fee of ¥2000 (in total, $325 USD). Orders will be taken in Japan until July 31, and shipping will commence in February 2027.
