The Mazda Japan Facebook page has been posting a series of beautiful watercolor paintings by Mazda designer Miki Nakajima. Subjects range from the 1950 Mazda PB-type three-wheeler to the 1970 RX-500 concept to modern favorites like the MX-5. See the full gallery below the jump.

that guy must not like the FC…
or the FD…
I thought that too, but there are two FD’s in the “Mazda Fan Fiesta” montage
AZ1!
or RX2/Capella
Not bad. I’ve tried to watercolor cars and it’s tough.
Sa22c is cool. But no Cosmo AP.
Would’ve loved to see a Eunos Cosmo
Like the facebook page. They’ll probably add more in the future.
Hello, thank you for posting up these photos!
I’m just curious, but how come the resolution of the photos are not consistent? I would look for the photos myself, but I can’t read Japanese.
Some of the photos are 800×600, I was wondering if they were available in higher resolutions.
I think over time Mazda increased the resolution. We provided the maximum size whenever possible.
Nice photos but no RX5 🙁
