Speaking of tuning trends, the neon Lamborghinis are back, along with biker chicks, RWB Porsches, and a brief glimpse of bosozoku sleds. It’s the current state of Japanese car culture, as viewed through the lens of the mainstream west. Love or hate the content, you can’t argue that the production, shot entirely on GoPros, isn’t pretty impressive.

“GoPro”
…..yeah, wonder if “Strippers; Cash for Cars” has been uploaded yet to Youtube…….
Japan has such an amazing culture, love the time and detail they put into their cars.

The footage looked pretty impressive to me….
Man, the Japanese way of customizing is so different from America’s…I love it! Now I really want to put flashing lights on everything and install absurd looking body kits on some cars. xP
Oh yeah, just a quick think I thought I’d point out, I’m not trying to copy Kuroneko’s name or anything, just a little coincidence.
i oddly wanna stick neon lights on everything now. 😛
Awww, my other comment got deleted. :/
Now there’s a typo, man, tonight’s not gonna be a good night.
Just a little too Fast and Furious 1 for me. I find it cheesy with all those terrible lights and body kits. There were even some spinners… still stuck on the last decade all they need are some no fear/aintskeered stickers. SMH.
I kinda felt RWB got shafted in the film. They had like, a minute of screen time total in the video.
I agree.
The bikes were cool! Obnoxious but cool.
The Lambos were just ridiculous, but I gotta give them credit for doing something no one else would even dare to do, which was essentially rice out exotic sport cars. They put a smile on my face though, they really don’t care, they just do it for the hell of it and I respect that.
The whole video reminded me of Kamikaze Girls actually, especially the bike scenes. haha
Saw this yesterday. I was going to suggest this video as a post but you beat me to it! What an amazing culture.
This is one of the first videos I have seen that REALLY touches on how insanely cool Japan is, how incredible Tokyo is, and just how crazy Japanese culture is. And it reaches far beyond car culture. The way the Japanese embrace whatever it is they are into, to the Nth degree, is what makes it so different over there, and so incredibly awesome. I want to go back SOOOOO BAD.
Wow! That is some of the best cinematography I’ve seen this year! I love this video!!! I want a GoPro now.
Thanks Ben for bringing it to JNC audience.
