Is your beautiful car life supported? The auto insurance sales department at American Home Direct would like for you to buy some of their premiums after watching this melodramatic tale. A man must trade in his red kenmeri for a Bluebird once he has a newborn son, to whom he gifts a green S30 Fairlady Z toy.
By the end of the spot the now-grown son is bestowing a green Z34 to his newborn son. Are your heartstrings tugged? Yes? Good, now go buy some insurance!
Well now, that’s just beautiful! :’)
a few things here.. 1: this should be an ad for Nissan.. B: old dude needs to buy a restored green Z. and 4:i like it.
I’m just blown away that they managed to find a Kenmeri with the original hubcaps 🙂
That, and does it not look like the bluebird model is handmade? That’s impressive.
It is kind of handmade, but not for the commercial. It’s a 1/43 Bluebird 910 resin model by Aoshima from a few years ago, a hardtop sedan when the car in the film is a two-tone regular sedan.
Freaking. Awesome.
original hubcaps maybe but nothing original about that weird, frosty red paint
I guess resale red is a thing in Japan as well…
Looked like a southwestern car to me.
That’s a Z34 at the end.
So it is… noted!
eh
Very cool !
My version would go like this – kid learns to walk – find KenMary again. Very awesome. The best insurance commercial I’ve ever seen.
