On October 18, 1969 the motoring world was forever changed when the Nissan Fairlady Z was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show. These lucky attendees, who probably all have heads of gray now, got to see it in person. Did they fathom the sports car revolution that was about to transpire when the car before them was unleashed to the public? Tonight, nearly 51 years later, we can be these young men as Nissan unveils the long-awaited seventh-generation Z online. I own a 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z-L. I’m the third owner and found the car in Utica, Pennsylvania. A true barn find! The car went under the knife 9 July 2024 Wits End Fabrication and Gmar Refinishing. The restoration is almost complete and will be in the original #919 Le Mans Yellow.
