PIXELATED: The latest Gran Turismo Sport update is packed with Japan’s best

The next Gran Turismo Sport update features an all-Japanese lineup of performance icons from five different carmakers. This is unusual, as these updates typically feature a smorgasbord of machinery from all around the world. For update 1.43, though, no matter what your Nihon steel the selection is unlikely to disappoint.

From Toyota City comes the 1983 AE86 Corolla Levin 1600GT Apex. The boys from Kanagawa brings its touge rival, the 1990 Nissan Silva K’s Dia Selection. Hailing from Okazaki is the 1991 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo, while originating from Ohta is the 1999 Subaru Impreza WRX Type R STi Version VI. And last but not least, the AP1 Honda S2000 arrives from Takanezawa. The new track is the Red Bull Ring in wet conditions, and it looks to be a rollicking good time with the type of J-tin that made us fall in love with Gran Turismo to begin with.
