NEWS: The millionth Miata tour dates announced

Earlier this year, the one millionth Miata rolled off the assembly line. Think about that for a moment. One million drivers have been able to experience a true connection to the road and undiluted driving thrills for a price that doesn’t even come close to breaking the bank. To celebrate, Mazda is bringing the one millionth Miata on tour. It’s already done a lap around Japan, and now it’s coming stateside.

The tour will span 18 American cities, ending in Monterey for the Miatas at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca event in October. The millionth Miata will be accompanied by the red serial number 15 NA that was displayed at the Miata’s 1989 Chicago Auto Show launch. At each stop, the first 240 owners will get a chance to sign their names on the millionth car, and 400 commemorative tour T-shirts will be given away. To join in on the fun, here’s a list below. JNC will likely be a one of the California events with our managing editor Ricky Silverio’s own NA.

Is the Philadelphia location accurate? Young Mazda is in Easton PA, there’s no Young Mazda in Philadelphia. I’d love to go but their website doesn’t mention anything about it, dunno if the Mazda website has the information posted. Hopefully Young Mazda is correct, much less of a drive and none in the city is a big plus!
