NEWS: Akio Toyoda voted Best Dressed CEO

Akio Toyoda Best Dressed

In addition to being Toyota’s petrolhead honcho, Akio Toyoda has been given Japan’s Best Dresser Award. The man who fast-tracked the Toyota 86, Lexus LFA and Lexus RC F to production was bestowed the honor by the Men’s Fashion Association, which has been giving out the prize since 1972.

Akio Toyoda Do Not Touch

Each year, the award is given to three public figures, one each from the categories of Academics and Culture, Sports and Entertainment, and Toyoda’s bracket, Politics and Economics. Here’s the trendsetting CEO joking around with Japanese media in the Toyota headquarters lobby, posing with a display car wearing a “Do Not Touch” sign.
