What happened to the lettering? The old font was much better than this one.. just, my 2 cents.
Sarcasmo, the new typeface was chosen with careful consideration to the future of the magazine. We wanted to downplay the “Japanese” and focus on the “Nostalgic Car” part of the logo. That is the direction we wanted to go, as there was much debate over this, the decision was made not to have a serif typeface as it looks too similar to Nostalgic Hero magazine. While we cherish the nostalgic, we are not an old fashioned magazine with an old fashioned typeface. We are progressive, bold and strong towards the future while celebrating the ever-growing culture of the nostalgic. There is much more to come with this new branding and it will make much more visual sense.
