What the hell’s this, spamming for the competition? Or perhaps the JNC boys have hacked grandJDM, posting their own content?!
Not quite!
For the past few months, Kev and I have been working hard alongside Ben and Dan at JapaneseNostalgicCar.com to get their magazine out. Why are we helping the competition? Frankly, we just don’t think of them that way! In such a small community of lovers of classic japanese cars, we’ve always thought it important to maintain close ties rather than to work against each other.
So, in the interests of bettering the community’s position in the greater automotive enthusiast picture, we decided it’d be a hot idea to team up with them on their magazine. So Kev contributed a simply brilliant feature article on the history of the Skyline, and I helped them put together the visual design of the mag. We’re all really proud of our efforts, and we hope you’ll support JNC by picking up a copy or grabbing an extremely well priced subscription!
Head over to JNC to get a look at what to expect inside the magazine.
Hey guys, that’s good news. I’m wondering though, how can I get involved?
I’d really like to help out, so please feel free to get in contact with me. I’m a huge JDM fan as Locky and Van should know! ๐
From the previews, the magazine REALLY looks good! I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on issue 1! Kudos to Ben, Dan, Kev & Van! ๐
Iยดve just picked up a subscription, so one for Sweden then ๐
“Their magazine”? ๐ You guys are just as much part of the team!
Van’s design and artwork is just amazing and as you guys can see, better than almost any other car mag out there! Kev’s Skyline article was so comprehensive we couldn’t fit it all in this issue, and had to save half of it for next time! Thanks again, guys!!
Sweet so getting a subscirption, something about all those glossy pages filled with JDM goodness that makes it so much better than reading it off the net.
I subscribed as soon as subscriptions were available. I almost forgot about it.
Hey Guys it looks great. I’ve just subscribed for a year so looking forward to seeing the first issue. I’ll also hassle my local Borders to getting it as a regular buy in mag.
Cheers,
Sulio
Waiting for my first issue!
