EVENTS: Japanese Classic Car Show 2010, Part 01

This is the first installment of many from JCCS 2010. Toyota USA is a major sponsor and they pulled no  punches with several of the race cars in their collection. More on this later!

Toyota also made an attempt to bring back the vannin’ craze with the mid-80s Toyota Van and the all-new Sienna minivan.

Another study in contrasts: the Mooneyes Crown pickup and a FJ75LV Land Cruiser built to spec for the US Marine Corps.

Speaking of pickups, the South West Datsun Pickup crew came out with an army of period-correct mini-trucks from back in the day.

Sparkle Garage in da house.

Staring down the barrel of a TA12 Toyota Carina‘s headlight intake with a 2000GT lurking in the background. That’s it for now, but we’ve got plenty more photos to go through — mountains of Datsuns, Mazdas, Toyotas, and even some Mitsubishis and Subarus! Stay tuned.

I have a 1982 Starlet with 2843 original miles on it. It is in showroom condition, runs and looks like it just came off the assembly line. It’s been in storage for quite some time, and has never seen snow, or rain for that matter. I will be auctioning it on ebay next week. If interested email me at chefchristian1972@hotmail.com.
