There was a UK spec Z31 Turbo at the Haynes breakfast meet at Sparkford this morning. Nice to see it along with a 1985 Celica Supra. Not many of either sold in the UK and probably very few left on the road.
Yes! Was lucky enough to have a low mileage Z31 Shiro in high school and loved that car to death. Had to sell it to pay for college but would buy another in a heartbeat if one came up for sale near me. Very underrated car for what it was.
There’s an 85 Turbo sitting in my garage, the motor is sitting on the floor behind it and I’m trying to decide if I want to put it back together or find a super clean shell to put all my goodies into.
I just love the way the Z31 looks. What is great is that there is a huge community that loves them and tries to keep them alive!! There are quite a few people that make parts for these cars so they can continue to live. Not many other cars have that support.
