We’ve spent the last few March sevenths honoring the Toyota Corolla TE37, but let’s not forget what is probably the most iconic wheel of the tuner age, the Volk Racing TE37. The instantly recognizable lightweight 6-spoke looks good on a variety of cars, from CRXes to Land Cruisers. Hopefully one day we can snap a photo of a TE37 Corolla wearing TE37s.
Such an idolized wheel! So cliche, but often imitated, never duplicated. I just sold a set of gun metals off my Miata, I’ve owned it for quite a long time, and wonder if I will ever get a chance to have another set for that car. I like the RE30s that I’ve replaced with, but still, it seems like the TE37 bandwagon has an effect on me.
I guess I could also just stop whining and look at the other set of OG TE37s that’s on my other car.
