As a carmaker Isuzu peaked early, but as a result we have the beautiful Isuzu 117 to admire and cherish. The Giugiaro-penned lines were said to have followed the curves of a woman. We’re not entirely sure we see it, but it definitely makes grassy fields a lot more interesting to look at. Happy 117 Day from JNC!
What?! I see Sophia Loren. I have to say though, from this angle, that shot makes it look like a Fiat 124 Sport Coupe (The Coupe was not Pininfarina body. The Spider was). Gorgeous!!! *I miss thin A pillars.
Having owned several 117’s they are remarkable cars for their day and still nice driving cars, I still have one in my collection that I need to finish, the twin cam is rebuilt and I have a 5 speed to put behind it as well all my brakes and suspension are rebuilt just need the time to put it all together…
I am truly jealous! Best of luck on your project. It’ll be a timeless classic!
