Friday Video: Police vs. Bosozoku

Are these the most ruthless cops ever or just an extremely dedicated crew of stuntmen? We don’t know, but if you want to see some patrol cars mowing down a gang of bosozoku while being filmed from the trunk of a 1969 Olds 442, here’s a clip from the 1987 film Kono Ai no Monogatari or “The Story of This Love.”

    Excellent action! 🙂
I’d say they are the most ruthless stuntmen ever! Trashing that much 70s and 80s J-tin in only 5 minutes! 🙁

Wait, why does the motorcycle explode?

I think you’ve posted this before, ’cause I’ve definitely seen this exact clip, and I don’t know where else I’d be watching clips of old Japanese car chase sequences ;D

    It’s a ’69 442. 😆 Very cool clip!

  5. Bob says:

Haha, it’s cool. I honestly can’t remember how to tell ’70-’72s apart, but I know a ’69 when I see one. You were close, lol.

  6. Ben says:

Ha, I don’t know how to tell from the front, but at some point in life I knew the 69s have the long taillights. My lame excuse is that the camera crew distracted me. Either that or my knowledge of Detroit muscle is slowly being replaced by that of J-tin, lol.

umm ok.. not quite sure about this one.. the only one I recognized is the dude in the full plaid suit…. Seen him in japanese/american comedies…
