Counterfeit JNC Stickers Now Available!

Look what April Fools Santa Claus brought us yesterday. Could there be a more appropriate gift for the occasion? An operative in Indonesia managed to track down some counterfeit JNC stickers for us. The JNC staff is already calling dibs on them and upping the ante in Giga Pudding trades for different colored ones.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery so, uh, thanks? If you want to represent JNC on your car you now have two great choices: 1.) Book a flight to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and make your way by taxi to the heart of the city where you can hire a local guide to help you scour the mean streets of Jakarta for underground Indonesian sticker pirates, or 2.) Spend $1.99 at the JNC shop. Your call.

i don’t know, the red and white is just nice looking.. the other colors don’t work well. besides, red and white are the colors of the Japanese Flag anyways. although, if you guys could make one that was like red with a bass-boat glitter finish, now we’re talking. it would match the Hannah Montana sticker i picked up at Giant the other day.

for us in Indonesia, it will be the exact opposite:
    1. book a flight to wherever the original JNC stickers are sold and spend 1.99 and beg on the streets for changes for a flight back home
    2. spend one buck for the faux stickers (yeah we know where to get them) and enjoy just about the same praise level from fellow jap nostalgic heroes
lol.. just kidding. there’s nothing like the originals of course.. not proud of being in the same country as the counterfeiters but most people here won’t even ask if they’re original.
