The Toyota 2000GT was a little too early for the golden age of the Fuji GC series, and for that we are thankful. But in an alternate universe here’s what a gurachan MF10 might look like.
All the requisite pieces are there — pavement scraping air dam, bolt-on over-fenders, taped up headlights and off-center decals. Whoever built it even added oni cambered Longchamp XR-4s. It’s fun to imagine, but in real life we wouldn’t want to be constantly looking over our shoulders for the Toyota Museum’s ninja assassin clan.
Or watch out for a very large Toyota paid samurai with no face.
I like it !
Nichimo made a whole line of these from 240ZG and a Ken Meri to a RX-3.
They were packaged as race cars and at one point, street racers.
Sounds strange, but I love it! 🙂
And sorry for the fainthearted, but this photo shows there actually was a 2000GT with extended fenders:
Lucky enough the rust reveals that it is actually a replica since the 2000GT bodywork can’t rust in a brownish color. 😉
Some things are better off staying as toys!
I want one!
i like it 🙂
Looks like Godzilla stepped on it.
Glad it’s just a model.
It looks like it’s drunk.
Where’s the takeyari?? 🙁
dang, someone else was thinking the same thing i was. im still going to build one like this..lols
@lincoln stax – LMAO! i don’t know how it’s possible but that totally makes sense. so true!
Put some eyeballs in the windshield and it looks like a character from Cars staggering home after spending all night swilling too much hi-octane.
Really Kool…….Kool. Old skool SUPRA….ra….ra…..
This is the coolest 2000GT, ever. But, somehow, I’m glad it’s just a model.
This is one case where ANY modifications on a classic is uncalled for.
I would drive that. Let them chase me.
Don’t tempt me!
Actually, I don’t need any further temptation, there are so many classic J-tins I want to bring to life in small scale…
You purists better hope I never win the lottery… 🙂
Buy me a stock one in Pegasus White and I’ll distract the ninjas
I agree, NO 2000GT should ever look like that!
