Just got this email from the guys at the Z Club of San Diego. Join them this Sunday if you want to drive through Temecula Wine Country. Details below.
Join us on our annual Sweetheart Run through the Temecula Wine country on Sunday, February 22nd.
We will meet at Coco’s in La Mesa at 8:45 am, leaving at 9 o’clock.
Next stop is at Carl’s Jr. on Carroll Canyon Road leaving at 9:45 am.
Another quick stop at the Deer Springs Park & Ride {east of I-15}, then off to Temecula at 10:00.
We’ll make our traditional first winery stop at the Maurice Carrie Winery, 34225 Rancho California Rd, Temecula, CA 92591. (Try their brie baked in fresh sourdough bread. Yum!)
After meeting and greeting members of other Z Clubs joining us, we will head out for more socializing and tasting at a few other wineries. Route maps will be available on the day of the event. We will picnic at our last stop, weather permitting. And yes, there will be Sheri’s Death-by- Chocolate-Cake (I hear it goes great with red wine!) You don’t need to be a wine connoisseur to enjoy this event, so please plan on coming out for a day of fun in the sun with us.
