Mazda is giving away fifty 100th Anniversary Miatas to deserving heroes

It’s been a tough year, but Mazda is trying to make it just a little bit better by giving away 50 Miatas to deserving individuals. These are people Mazda describes as “selfless” and who have “gone above and beyond for their community.” And not only will they be getting a Miata, but it will be one of the special 100th Anniversary Editions that feature some unique color and trim.

Released in 2020 to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary, these cars feature an exclusive white with dark red interior and top (inspired by the Mazda R360), along with 100th anniversary badging and embossed headrests.

If you know someone who you think deserves a Miata, all you have to do is make a one-minute video about why they should get the car and hashtag it #MazdaHero. Then fill out a short form on the Mazda website.

Mazda has been doing a lot to make 2020 seem a little less depressing. Earlier this year, Mazda honored COVID-19 health care workers by giving them free oil changes and car washes, even if they didn’t own a Mazda. This program turns the dial up to 11, and dishing out free Miatas is probably the best way we can think of to spread joy.

My hats off to “MAZDA”, not being a big name such as Toyota and should lead by example, MAZDA being the underdog, goes far and beyond, under difficult times, really represents 10 folds to just how much more than a car company interested in making a buck. All the car manufactures should take a page from MAZDA. It’s not aboutprofiting, but under hard times, they DO THE WALK AND NOT JUST TALK. ITS GESTURES LIKE THIS FROM MAZDA THAT WILL SOLIDIFY THEIR INTEGRITY AS A COMPANY NOT ONLY INTERESTED IN PROFITTING, BUT ALSO UPHOLD ITS INTEGRITY AND A COMPANY ALL SHOULD LEARN FROM AND BE RESPECTED FOR IT
