The Sonorous Sounds of the Mazda RX-7 Group B Rally Car

mazda rx-7 group B rally

The Group B Mazda RX-7‘s brief claim to fame was a podium finish at the 1985 Acropolis Rally amidst a field of AWD monsters like the Audi Quattro. But Mazda threw its weight behind its Group A 323 and Group B was dissolved the following year anyway. You don’t really see much footage of these cars,¬†and this guy’s really giving it some.

Awesome! Reminds me of when I was late to pick up my daughter at the mall and had to hurry a bit.

Those spectators are crazy too, looks like it would be easy to get slammed…

Jimbo – I hope you didn’t spray the shoppers with pebbles as you pulled into the parking lot :)

So…did your daughter require some sort of special counselling when she got home from the mall? :)

Love the insane bodykits on those cars. Would be awesome to see one on a street RX7. :)
