Forged alloys take the cake when it comes to pure function, but there’s always going to be something sinister about a set of steelies. Recognizing that steel wheels are from the factory these days, Weds Wheels has developed a steelie that gives kei cars and vans a bit of that old school cool.
Called the Weds Neo Carrow, the steelies come in three diameters — 12-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch. Each size is available in two colors, Matte Black or Gray. Each wheel also comes with a dog dish center cap to conceal the lug nuts. That center cap also comes in two variations, Chrome or Semi-Matte Black, providing a wide assortment of possible combinations.
The steel wheels are fairly affordable as well, ranging in price from ¥14,300 ($97 USD) to ¥18,700 ($126 USD). Currently the sizing is only for kei cars, but a larger design made for a Toyota Hiace is coming soon. They are only available in Japan so far, but we’re sure that the resourceful among you will be able to figure out how to obtain a set.
