VIDEO: Fun facts about classic Mazdas, depending on your definition of fun

Mazda UK has released a series of videos issuing “fun facts” about classic Mazdas. To be honest, it’s a bit of a stretch to call these facts “fun” unless you find scintillating tidbits such as “Mazda first used the 929 name in 1972” entertaining. But, it’s still a good opportunity to see some old Mazdas in action. Where else are you going to see an R130 Luce Rotary CoupĂ© moving under its own power?

Fun fact: The number of fun facts corresponds to the number in the model name. We only realized this during the process of embedding these videos. That’s why there are only three fun facts for the RX-3, while the 929 gets nine fun facts. Now we feel even more ripped off. We demand more MX-3 fun facts! Surely that’s also why they skipped the Cosmo Sport and its 110 fun facts. You can see the rest of the videos below.

While these videos put me into a deep coma like sleep, I at least dreamt of driving a Mazda MX3 along the British countryside.

Did the elimination of pop-up headlights really save any lives?
