The Toyota Celica GT-Four may have nabbed the starring role in Take Me Out to the Snowland, though the filmmakers originally wanted to cast a Mitsubishi. The Celica proved capable, but Japan has a plethora of AWD and 4WD machines that can take on inclement conditions, from kei cars to Land Cruisers.
What JNC would you pick if you had to charge through a snowy mountain?
The most entertaining comment by next Monday will receive a prize. Scroll down to see the winner of last week’s QotW, “What should the Emperor of Japan have in his garage?”
When you’re royalty, you naturally expect either the absolute best, or something completely ludicrous — at least that’s what we learned from the answers of the week. In the first category, there were dignified suggestions like エーイダン‘s Prince Skyline or Ian‘s sports car garage consisting of a 2000GT, NSX, and Supra. In the second category were Steven‘s shifter kart idea to get the public stoked about driving, and Yuri‘s Initial D Mitsubishi Evo motorcade. As much as we’d like to see any of these scenarios, the winner last week was daniel, would place a phone call to Mr Toyoda himself.
