Jack White continues to exude cool with his latest ride

As we know all too well in the automotive realm, money does not buy taste. That’s not the case for musician Jack White. Despite a net worth deep into the 8-digit range, his vehicle choice is absolutely brilliant. In a social media post earlier this week the rocker revealed his latest acquisition, a 1991 Suzuki Samurai in his signature red with white stripes.

White has an affinity for true body-on-frame 4x4s, as evidenced by the Detroit native’s pair of Ford Broncos. One is a classic 1975 built on the same day White was born, and a matching new Bronco was customized in red and white to resemble “a full-size Matchbox car,” white told the Detroit Free Press.

Being a 1991 model, White’s Suzuki would have been available with an updated 1.3-liter engine with single-point throttle body fuel injection, good for 66 horsepower. White wasted no time, taking the Samurai for a run through a grassy field in a video posted to social media. In the caption White wrote that he’d been on the hunt for a car like this for about six years. Finally, it was his manager Ian Montone and drummer Patrick Keeler that managed to find the car and gift it to him for his 50th birthday.

Big fan of Jack’s. I was psyched when I saw this on his IG and that he is kind of a car guy. Love the Samurai too! It fits his vibe for sure.
