Happy New Year from JNC

The Japanese tradition for New Year is hatsuhinode, or first sunrise. It means getting up early to view the year’s first daybreak, representing hope, aspiration, and renewal. Many who observe the tradition travel up a mountain, to the coast, or some other vista point fo a clear and spiritual view. Sounds like the perfect excuse for an unencumbered drive and a time for vowing to get that project started. Happy New Year from JNC!

Happy New Year from Hong Kong! While a lot of Chinese of fancy EVs have taken over the streets, it was great to see Toyota Comforts galore, a 2000 Accord SiR wagon, a Civic EF,

I talked to my significant other about waking up a mountain to look at the first sunrise on new year last night when we were coming home after the party, just to change things up from the usual late night party… To my surprise, she is interested! Not this time because we were up way too late, but I hope next year we will try this tradition!
    Happy new year everyone!
