Good guy Nissan offers virtual tour of Zama warehouse during corona virus quarantine

Nissan knows people are staying home to prevent the spread of the corona virus. So, to keep us occupied, it’s going to offer a live two-hour virtual tour of its heritage collection, otherwise known as the Zama warehouse, of 400-plus classic, racing, and concept cars. For those who have never had the opportunity to visit Nissan nirvana in person, this will be the next best thing.

The Zama warehouse is temporarily closed due to the virus, so even if you’re in Japan right now it’s impossible to see it. The tour will be hosted by one of Nissan’s Miss Fairlady spokespersons and a company history officer. The live broadcast begins at 7:00pm Pacific Time on March 19. It’s great that Nissan is going the extra mile to help people cope with being cooped up at home, and it should to be a great way to burn off some time. Enjoy!

    Ben, do we know if this tour will be conducted in Japanese language – chances of English captions? I don’t mind looking at the video, but the addition of facts and figures would be a bonus.

    To get you in the mood and tide you over, MotorWeek just posted their review of the T12 Stanza from 1987;

  3. I’m happy! When we visited Japan, we were unable to go to the museum. (Even after that told them I was Mary.) This is great! Thanks for the info, Ben!!
