Flared Toyota Corona T100 is nobody’s pet

The Toyopet name lasted a lot longer in Japan than the US. That’s the badge on the back of this purple people eater, but it ain’t no pet. Looks more like a wild animal.

We are rapidly becoming Corona obsessed here at JNC. A while back I posted this super-clean silver T100 Corona. Everything was innocently bone stock except for the ride height, yet it looked evil, like some unblinking mute kid in a horror movie. This SSR MkIII-wearing, hako-spoilered, over-fendered, old-school-Kenwood-rockin’ Corona, on the other hand, isn’t even trying to hide it. Fifth-gens┬ádon’t get enough respect.

Purple is also seriously underrated. Aggressive like red but classy like blue. The color of royalty. Looks amazing on this car.

Looks like a Corolla and an MX41 mixed together.
