VIDEO: Japanese Classic Car Show 2021

The Japanese Classic Car Show Association dropped their official 2021 JCCS video yesterday. While it doesn’t feature all the cars, trucks, and motorcycles that were present (you can see our own coverage for that), it does a great job of capturing the feel of the event.

It shows a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff our photographs missed — the morning roll-in, owners meticulously cleaning their cars for display, the wide selection of vendor goods, and even some of the celebrity cameos from Sung Kang and Daniel Wu. You an also see some of the JNC staff helping set up the Ryu Asada memorial with his own personal NSX, the first time it has been seen in public since his passing.

The clips make us want to relive that day again, especially since it was the first time in two years a JCCS was held (the in-person show was put on hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic). Hopefully we’ll see you there for 2022.
