Cannot wait until they finally put a TS Cup Sunny in one of these games, hell anything from a JCCA event I’d be happy with

  2. Mr.L.J. Nordvik says:

I’m a bit dissapointed to see the TE27 missing form both lists.

  3. bert says:

This is basically the same list from GT4. I’ve noticed that most of our favorite nostalgics are missing from these games, and I would like to see a game devoted just to ….. lets say pre 85 nostalgics. But I do think it’s great that they are at least being recognized in the major gaming franchises.

  4. sr-fairladyz says:

My garage in GT-PSP is growing rapidly with nostalgics. Having the choice of either DR30 Tekamen or non-Iron Mask was surprising, and way too difficult of a decision for me to make, so I own both. lol Almost at gold with all the driving tests, don’t listen to the bad reviews, this game IS the ultimate driving simulator for the PSP.

  5. I played GT for PSP last night over at TSISS350’S, its a pretty slick little game.

  6. Neil says:

Sigh, still no FB. Decent lists tho.

  7. B. Smith says:

When is Forza going to include the S130?

  8. JamesE says:

Turn10 (Developers of Forza) have stated that there will be a lot of downloadable content following the release of the game, so further JNC type cars could be added. Personally, the Skyline 2000 GT-R is enough to get me excited!

  9. Lincoln Stax says:

I’ve never owned an XBox, so I’ve never played any Forza, but I think I’ll fix that in a couple of weeks. I’ve played all four Gran Turismo titles, and I bought a PSP last week just so I could play GTPSP. I have about 70 cars in garage right now, and about 60 of them are nostalgics from Japan, the US and Europe. It’s a fun game, but I’m having a real hard time coming to grips with the thumb button for steering.

  10. Sr-FairladyZ says:

    Lincoln Stax,

Maybe this will help you out. I tend to use the analog thumb stick only on certain sections, tracks, or cars even! I had always been a D-pad guy up until this game. In slower cars I tend to use the D-pad more, or on tracks with long sweeping corners that require steady turning precision. For higher hp cars on tracks that require lots of quick directional changes or steering corrections, I then use the Analog stick. Try that out. Another tip with the analog stick, don’t bother trying to hold the stick steady in the direction you’re turning, instead make short quick jerks into that direction. This will help stop you from turning in too aggressively. When I first tried the anolog stick i was like ‘Yea RIGHT!” but after some very short practice it became second nature. Oh and lastly, remove your thumb and blow when on the straights, this helps keep sweat away and a good grip! Hah! Happy Driving!

  11. Lincoln Stax says:

I’ve already started doing something like that. In the H-1 driving challenge (the one where you have to pass the NSX on Fuji’s front straight), I just could not keep in the draft using the thumb pad. I finally started using the d-pad and I got it. I use the d-pad mostly on the straights for fine adjustment of my driving line, and the thumb pad for the majority of the corners. And I’ve been using the thumb jerks you’re talking about since GT3. It’s just that for some reason, the thumb pad on the PSP feels so much different from the thumb controller on the PS2 controller.

By the way, I started with the Peugeot 206. How about you? If you’re on the GTPlanet forums, I go by the name of martialstax.

  12. sr-fairladyz says:

    Lincoln,

Glad you got that sorted out. I haven’t used a controller at all since GT3. I went from a DFP wheel to the G25 and never looked back lol. My first car in GTPSP was a 1986 MR2 SC and the last 2 I just purchased are the 2 Countach’s :). As for Driving challenges, so far I’m all gold up to “I”. I haven’t gotten into the unlocked “J – Q” just yet. I’m not on GTPlanet, but maybe I will see you on PSN when GT5 drops! I’ll be sure to start a thread on here about it when the time comes. We’ll see which JNC’ers want to race w/o the rust!

  13. Nigel says:

Nissan S12 Gazelle and Silvia are in “Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift 2” for PS2. Also appearing, first Gen RX7.
