New Nissan Heritage Collection Website

Ready to kill off a few hours? Nissan has created a user-friendly, navigable catalogue of their legendary Heritage Collection (see coverage in JNC #3), simply called Nissan-Heritage-Collection.com. The Zama warehouse is still not open to the public, but here’s the next best thing.

All 400-plus cars, from a 1931 Datsun 12 Phaeton to a R390 GT1 Le Mans racer, are covered. You can also download a hi-res photo of each car for more desktops than an Ikea showroom and there’s even a ranking of what users are digging (Currently the 1964 Cedric is killing it).

True, most of the content was avaialble on the old site, but it was about as drab as the windowless gray door leading to the storage facility. The newly designed interactive page is far more befitting of a collection of this magnitude. We can only hope the actual cars find a proper home in a Nissan museum someday.

Looks great, but the site also seems like it is very busy. And I found out about the 200 Z

Shame there’s no ‘English’ version of it…or have I just missed the link?
