At the rate its going, Hot Wheels will soon have a model of every Nissan Skyline generation. The latest to come is the Skyline Japan, or C210 if you’re fluent in chassis codes. Unveiled at the Tokyo Toy Show, it appears ripe for customization, on widened fenders and small-scale wheels. Also revealing is the chassis, which does not exactly seem to be petroleum-based. A premium model, perhaps?
Also revealed recently is the Honda City Turbo in its final painted form. The paint scheme appears to be, like on the Honda Odyssey first edition, a homage to a certain vintage radio control vehicle. Perhaps those well-versed in the R/C world will chime in in the comments. Fitted with small wheels that that seem to be inspired by 80s aero disk designs, it is sure to fly off the shelves.

Those new Japanese hotwheels coming out are all awesome. I will be on the hunt for these thumbs up.
Nice to see them all in the mainline but I can hope they get the Car Culture Japan Historic treatment. Metal on Metal,real riders rubber tires and more than the usual tampos. I rather have no livery but front and back details. They have to do some thing Greenlight has Toyko Torque coming,M2 is making a Japanese line and Jada has a new JDM in the fall. I also hear that Johnny Lighting is bring back IMport Heat starting off with Import Heroes of the 90’s. They better keep up or lots dollars are going elsewhere. Quality or a cheap 1.00 price point,but you get what you pay for.
I think I remember hearing that the C210 and Hakosuka wagon from a few posts ago will debut in the Car Culture series. They’ll look great but you can already tell that they’ll be near impossible to find.
