Japanese Backyard Collection of J-tin

toyotacelica_toyotasports800
This backyard stash of J-tin was just sitting about on a quiet suburban side street. The owner of this trove may not want to be revealed so I won’t mention any names, but he did say that the majority of these cars will, one day, be restored. A few are too far gone, like the black S30 Crown and the blue Sports 800, but the rest should keep him busy for a while. Amazingly, he said that the neighbors don’t complain at all. Instead, they think it’s cool to see the old cars. Nobody tell them about HOAs.

More pics after the jump.

Wow! What a great find! 🙂
I really envy that owner: a rare Corona 2 door hardtop, a Subaru R-2, a Honda N series… Man, that’s all worth gold here!!

There is a junkyard in Wisconsin outside of East Troy that has many 1970’s japaneese cars, some complete and some in pieces. I found a 1976 Celica coupe 1975 corolla 1978 corolla liftback and others. I had to trespass onto his property because the yard has been closed for about 20 years. I would like to get some support from others to try and contact the owner. I believe there is a fortune in restorable classic J-Tin parts there. If you live in or around Burlington, WI. J-Tin classics are unheard of and even ridiculed in Wisconsin, so I’m sure with the right approach the cars could be attained fairly cheap. email me and we’ll find a way to save these remaining parts as I am on a very tight budget, but I’ll lead you there. jamesgesselle@yahoo.com

looks like mine. lol. I would be game to contact the owner. Down in chicago we have a following of old J-tin Parts and all. If he would be willing to sell im sure there would be buyers here.

You could put that Celica 1600 in my yard. Wait I don’t have a yard.
