Honda Z600 Appears in Sprint Commercial

We’ve been waiting for the Palm Pre to go on sale so we can ditch our horribly outdated five-year-old Sony Ericsson Z500. And even though Sprint’s “Now Network” campaign is now on heavy rotation, we didn’t realize that it was for a product we actually want until we caught this Honda Z600 (not to be confused with our P.O.S. phone) in the latest commercial and started paying attention. Funny how that works, isn’t it? This isn’t the first time some vintage J-tin has shown up in an ad, and we’re sure it won’t be the last.

Has anyone spied the insurance commercial with a Nissan Figaro in it? I think it’s an ad for Nationwide.

Ha-Ha! I bought mine off E-Bay (no rust, really, I know the pictures are fuzzy, but really, No Rust!). When you’re born and raised in Arizona, you never really encounter rust, most of the cars that have it don’t make it all the way here, and the ones that do go straight to the Crusher. I bought an Ohio Honda Z 600 (No rust, really!), and I am painfully learning the ways of Rust, how whenever you put a wrench on a fastener you first say a little prayer before you snap it off, every time, and how you never poke at that weird tumor that is under the paint, because suddenly your finger is on the other side of the sheet-metal. God, it was a horrible mistake, and I love that little POS more than I ever could have imagined that last day of the auction when I told my wife, “I Must Have That Car!”.
