Behind the scenes of Honda’s Civic World exhibit

The Civic World special exhibit is still going on at the Honda Collection Hall in Japan right now, and Honda has released a video showing some of the set up that went into the display. It looks like a fantastic showcase of Honda’s best-selling compact, and it would be great to see it in person. Unfortunately, with the pandemic and Japan’s restrictions on US travelers, this is as good as we’re going to get.

The exhibit was originally supposed to run until March 17, but Honda has extended it until May 31. This should give a few more people (even travel within Japan has slowed during the health crisis) the chance to see what nearly every generation of Civic, aside from some overseas models, represented.

While it was good to see the cars on display in their proper positions, there’s something nice about witnessing Honda’s dedicated workers roll the cars into the museum. You get the sense that there is great care and pride behind each car. The Honda Collection Hall is a must-see mecca for any fan of Honda (or Japanese cars in general) this video, although brief, shows us why.
