The time of coronavirus can be scary and boring, but being forced to quarantine can spawn creativity as well. Case in point. Nissan employees have been working from home for weeks now, and the quarantining designers have used some of that time to create a downloadable coloring book for the rest of us.
The book consists of 23 (ha!) pages of concepts, modern cars and, of course, classics. The illustrations were submitted by Nissan designers from around the world (the Patrol generations sketch, for example, was done by our friend Ken Lee) and enjoy a great variety of style and subject.
We love the fact that many of them have an enthusiast bent, like the Datsun 240Z with flares and RS-Watanabes, or the 510 Bluebird with SSR MkIs. There are other cool machines like the Figaro, Rasheen, Skyline GT-R and much, much more. Nissan is asking everyone to post their finished pieces, or ones that they have created on their own, on social media with the hashtag #DrawDrawDraw. Like the Zama warehouse virtual tour, we’re glad the carmakers are coming up with creative ways to make this crazy time a little more bearable. You can download the entire coloring book here.

No IDx? I’m puting my pencils away…
Since I’m sure the Nissan guys know there’s a lot of debate about the best wheels for a 510, I thought the artist left the wheels blank so we could make our own decisions between Minilites or Libres ;^)
That’s what I’m talking about
