Sung Kang is perhaps best known for his role as Han in the Fast & Furious movies. Like his character in the films Sung is a car guy as well, and is currently building a Datsun 240Z with the help of Trust/GReddy that will debut at SEMA in November. Here’s a little preview of the car and the story behind it.

Mr K is smiling down at us Z guys as we watch another S30 bloom again for this current generation. Hopefully it will inspire Nissan to make a new one soon.It’s great to see the Z is once again becoming a common letter in the auto community.

Can’t wait to see your vision/dream Z. I built my dream Z aproximatly 6 years ago. I had as much fun planning and purchasing parts as I do driving with my kids or going to a track day. Enjoy the Ride/build.

Sung really picked one of the best companies to help him with his build. Even when we brought in our modest project Z for header R&D, Brian, Aaron, Ben and the rest of the GReddy team showed a great level of professionalism and enthusiasm for these old Fairladys. Cant wait to see it at SEMA.
Did you guys know that behind the scenes, I called OS Giken and we attempted to get the TC24-B1Z for this project? OS Giken Japan could not come through even after I told them what our plans were for and all the parties involved. The TC24-B1Z for this project would have helped OS Giken gain more exposure world wide. Just a little info for all my fellow JNC followers/readers…
