That's a truly rare find! As far as I know, Skylines were actually sold in northern Europe (Scandinavia and the Netherlands I think) in left hand drive (remember this was made by the factory, not by some random customizer!). It has non-original tail lights. Anyhow, it's beautiful... Shame that the owner doesn't want to sell it. I'd take it and keep in my garage, and restore it someday. Yes they were sold in the Netherlands and possibly in Finland too.
They had a 2.4 liter engine and were badged as "2400 GT" as you can just about make out in the photo above.
They were also available with the 2 liter, badged as "2000 GT".
Yes its a rare sight. Just like when that S50 series Prince Skyline turned up in the English country side. _________________

He obviously has plans for it! Sad to see it rot away. _________________ '73 HLS30 129806 ; L-28, street cam, SUs, 5-speed, Koni's, Suspension techniques springs, swaybars, BRE front/rear spoilers, Pertronix ignition

It looks like there are a lot of great cars in this scrapyard...But the owner doesn't want to sell any of them...His scrapyard is a kind of attraction in Swiss . _________________

| That's a shame! So many good cars wasted. I'm a little surprised to see the number of 70s American cars. Didn't know the GM F-bodies were driven there. |

What a waste. Pity he wont sell any of them to people that would restore them. Most of them are too far gone now. He should have kept them all in a huge shed like that guy in Portugal. _________________

Shame to see it like that. By coincidence, I scanned this in from a Dutch brochure only at the weekend:
A few years ago I was in touch with someone in Holland who had one, in need of a bit of work but on the road as I recall. |

No--he THINKS he has plans for it. He'll hang onto it until it vanishes.
These people that would rather let a car rot into the ground instead of selling it to someone who wants to save it just drive me nuts. Very frustrating. _________________ PM me if you need your classic detailed in RI/Southern MA |

Three C10's were entered in the 1972 24 hour race at Spa. The team was Belgium owned so I would think they got them there too. One of the cars ran at Nurburgring too. These cars were entered as 2000GT's rather than 2400GT's which is the model that seems to have been sold elsewhere in Europe. Those tail lights are indeed standard on European 2400GT's. I actually had some new old stock lenses for one a few years back which i sold on ebay. I was suprised anyone bought them! Here's one of the 2000GT's at Spa...
