|
|
My datsuns have been in limbo lately while i worked on my crown. Basically i only tag/insured the Toyota this year and then the motor blew! So i have been waiting to work on the datsuns, and finally got a small chance today. i put on some wheels i got from a friend recently. i have no idea what they are? so know i must get my flares and lower it, as you will see. Just need a 280zx front assembly's and some te27 flares and it will be set. i have been running 15" snowflakes with tall tires and i just cant see in skinny tires for them in the immediate future. I cant wait to slam this thing now. And a thank you to datsunfreak for the advise on lowering and flare fitment.

i see what you mean about the bumpers.
looks very clean otherwise .
have a look at this thread as it goes into a little about fitting the 280ZX struts and what was required to get the 280ZX brakes working properly. (this was all done before i bought it)
i shall be improving on what has already been done on mine with extra brackets for strength and i'm planning on rose jointing some of the front suspension. |

Seems about right, my friend called them reverse offset, that is all i know. They are 13x7, at least from my measurements.
i think i found my flares locally and i can of course get the 280zx assemblys from the JY. |

FYI, if you REEEEEALLY love these wheels, take one with you and test it over the 280ZX brakes before you buy the struts.
The should fit with that offset, but double-check. _________________
