Well here's my car:

Decided to take the engine out of my Cressida and shoehorn it into this car. Its a 1.5JZ with a Precision T61.
And here's where I am at the moment:

Future plans are

Finish the swap
bolt on flares
Hayashi Street lookalikes
smiley bumpers
then figure out what I want to do for suspension...

The radiator is the one I had in the cressida, its actually an SR20 S14 radiator. I dont think I'm going to be able to use it though.

Well I bought a 1JZ with a bad bottom end for $400. Then I found a GS300 long block with a BHG for like $150... so it just kinda worked out that way lol

Mine is an RA24 long nose. In '77 they had these big bumpers here in the US.

Are those TRD tosco wheels?

Now the engine and Suspension are bolted in for good

I moved the Lower Control Arm mounts outward for more track width and negative camber... and it worked awesome:

Steering is almost finished... ordered some tie rods from a 82 Celica to tie into the rack and pinion.

Also got an RX7 FB radiator and a 12 gal fuel cell and inline pump.

Much respect! Sounds a little like a v8 in its current form :D

What did you do with the extra port on the FB radiator, where the lower hose is? Cut and weld? Just plug it?
