Hey all,
New to the Colt scene w/a '72 Colt Wagon and am looking to improve brakes/susp. a bit. What upgrades are there for early Colts?
Thanks in advance for all input.

I'm not sure what is available in the US. Maybe a Starion set-up?
In Australia a lot of the members of the forum I am part or (sigma-galant.com) upgrade to 2.6 Sigma/Scorpion struts/brakes.
I have not done this myself, however if you wanted to do some research maybe you could have a look on that site?

BTW, I'd be interested to see some pics of your wagon, any chance of seeing any?

Thanks for the nod! I checked out that site but am still researching the Mitsu/Chrysler-Dodge connection(AUS/JPN vs. US models), :tu: for the lead, definitely helpful.
**I'll post pics soon as I open a posting account - by tomorrow, maybe.
Thanks again.

Well, considering that, I was hoping that maybe the older Colt Coupe crowd might have some gems to share. I've done lots of other badges over the years but no Colt - until now, finally!!!
**I'll post some pics 2-morrow - in a separate thread.

were on the same boat bro, most of the upgrade would be modifying from different cars like ae86 coilover shd. be okay but theres welding and cutting involved. Id rather just restore mine to original and maybe get gasadjust shocks and replace the bushings. Theres twinside or single side manifold to upgrade the intake with sidedraft carbs usually from australia or Philippines. I think Pacesetter still makes headers for that motor.

Fab work isn't a problem. I'm looking to swap out stock parts w/o hacking the car to pieces - too clean to cut! Just plan to drop it some, renew shaky legs, new shoes and a little make-up - just "attitude adjustment"! I'll post pics of my ride in a new thread later today!
I like the look of amg560's Celeste - the shot on his CarDomain link w/the gold Enkei mesh. Anybody know what offset those might be? That stance is killing!!! If anybody know where to get a set of Enkei's like those, point me in that direction!

**Dax, post a pic of your Colt, I'd like to see it. Thanks for the help.
