I am possibly thinking about doing a KA swap because i already have a motor available. The problem (dont make fun) is that i really dont think it is a good looking motor. Mainly the valve cover.

So lets see some cool KA pictures. Thanks

the valve cover makes the ka look massive and ballsy ... my opinion.. also it look like the honda s2000 engine.. which one is it by the way ka24e or the ka24de?

Here's a couple pics... standard valve cover though:
Supercharged
KA in 510
Edit: Sorry, just realized those two are not the DE... I wasn't quite awake. Anyways, here are DE's this time:
KA24DE Cleaned up
Turbo'd and valve cover painted blue
Mikuni carbs and valve cover painted red
Individualthrottle bodies

the coolest KAde ive ever seen was in a pale yellow 610

it was forsale on here a bit ago

but looked so fresh!

i prefer the KAe since its alot easier to get to stuff especially the sensors around the intake.

it also looks more like the direct ancestor of the Ls

I agree! First car that came to mind was that 610....there's something very cool about how understated it is.
Here's another one:
