Thanks for posting photos of such a rare car! What engines did these come with - inline 4?

Indeed the wagon's only came in short wheel base, 4cylinder format. With either G16 or G18 series engines.

Dunno if the S20 6cyl is gonna fit in a short nose wagon, Ben :)

However there are plenty of L-series 4cyl options which will fit :D

I dont think it would fit without heavy modification but i have always wanted one to cut the nose off and put the long nose on and then a s20. That would be my favorite car i think i could ever own.

Yup, that's what I'd do. We're talking lotto money here!

I checked a reference book and this body was available in four types:

o WC10 1500cc Estate.
o VC10 1500cc Van.
o WPC10 1800cc Estate.
o VPC10 1800cc Van.

All 4-cylinder, and while the 'W' prefix perhaps stands for 'wagon' the book calls this body an エステート (estate). Not sure if the original body style was called a エステート, or if this a later affliction. Perhaps an original body style name from Nissan, as they are described as, バンとワゴン (van and wagon) in the reference.

'V' assumable as 'van' too... I've seen just two Estates, and never a van. Neko.

Not me. But, you might be better to post a general question on a specific thread... Neko.
