^ It's not as exotic or vintage as the rest of the cars here on this board, but it's a blast to drive. It WAS a US 1985 Honda Civic CRX Si. I was debating whether to customize the car, restore it, or what. I settled for cloning the JDM car version. Ironically after I started building the car, it got popular somehow. 1st there was only a Tamiya 1/24 model kit, which I got around the mid 90's from a hobby shop in PA. Then recently I found a SAPI 1/43 scale model, penny racers, Tomica 1/64 scale cars, Auto Art 1/18 scale cars, paper cars, R/C cars, wow. So I stuck with the Ballade Sports theme. Good thing, my son is obsessed with my car, so I bought 2 of the Tomica 1/64 and 1/43 Sapi cars so he'd have one to play with. It has sat a while since we have had kids, attention and funds have been diverted. I currently have a JDM motor, dash, trip computer, 2nd gen CR-X seats, corner lights, taillights, tailpanel, emblems and badges, and brochures. I am the second owner, having all their well kept records. They were an older couple who took great care of the car, but decided in 1997 to get an Accord. Dealer was gonna give them $500 for the CRX, so they sold it. To me. I am now the caretaker for it, and will take it in my direction. I was referred here by someone on another board.
