im not to terribly worried about the mount again the beautys of having a father who works in an autoshop specializing in custom ac there are endless numbers of brakets floating around were gonna find one that works or is atleast close and then modify it wiring isnt to hard just stusy the wiring diagram in the fsm for a few and do a little thinkin

i would like to take this chance to thank my dad he has done alot to help me with this build it has definatly sped the build up (still would have gotten done just not as fast and without come of the cool parts i have now )

It was good to see you last week. The pics from the build don't do this car justice. I can't wait to get my sedan up there for a photo shoot. Take care!

im slackin on this thread here we go

got some new parts *drum roll*

SU'S BABY!!!
got um for a steal of a deal i need to get the spacers linkage and one banjo fitting but other then that im ready to rock im gonna polish the tops out before i mount them here are the pics

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

little bit of alt mockup
Image

different mounts
Image
Image

in the car

Image
Image
Image

then making the brakets and actually installing

my dad using the drill press to drill some holes
Image

brakcet mock up
Image

rounding the edges off the brakets
Image

bolted in solid (car actually runnin in this shot)
Image

with every possible load on it at an idle
Image

end result you cant go wrong with 105 amps and considering all we did was make some brakets and run one wire its a total win

you already have the alt mounted but if you look at a 520 or early 620 pickup. look at alt mount the bracket would work for that setup i used to run 13b rotary alt on my z22 with l head keep up the good work this 610 seems to have all the bases covered especially ac..sometimes i wish my kgc10 had ac....o well

the alt was one of those work with whats offered kinda things i got the alt for free and i already had all the stuff for the brakets so all i had to buy was the plug for the alt and that was the 2 dollar entrance fee at the yard

thanks for the kind words the ac was all custom fab in so you could have ac as well just go to get ahold of the right parts :D

i went 4 years without ac in the other car im not sure where you are in the bay area but here in vacaville its not uncommon for it to hit 110 in the summer so im very happy to have 40 degree air blowin on me :D

did some work to the car i took a scrub brush to the engine compartment and did a little touch up here and there in the places that the bedliner had chipped removed the headlight buckets and painted them black so they didnt show up behind the grill scrubbed the headlight and foglights and took off my NOS(well not really it was NOS when i go it) grill and put the black one that was on shelly back on i think it looks better with the black grill

"nos" grill
