Hey Ya'll, new guy here. Some of you know me from SPC. I've been building for a while...and in the last few years, got real serious into scratchbuilding. Some copies of my engines have already been posted in this thread before. Here's some of my work:

Hey Jimmy good to see you here.

Jimmy makes the best scale engines PERIOD.

Every time I think he has done his best work, he improves on the next subject. All the good engines I have because of him. The best thing is he always looks for areas where he can improve and sometimes he goes back and makes a motor he has done before better.

Thanks guys!

There are a few copies of my engine floating around. Just like jeff said, I do like to improve on past work...the T50, and carbs got re-worked for my later builds. The 2T-G, and 20 Valve are going back in for re-work.

Hey Jimmy I just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about the last batch of motors I still owe you for.

This thread makes me want to get going on all those kits I picked up in Akiba earlier this year! Every time I open the box, I dig around a little and close it. Mocking up the body on the wheels is about as far as I get!

I have a few J-nostalgics in scales smaller and larger than 1/24th...I might have to look at them again to motivate myself!

That's phenomenal! Love the old school Recaro seat pattern and the stretched tires.

Code 3 build would be cool. Otherwise IMO diecasts fall squarely in the toy thread.

Beautifully executed! Its a shame so much of the base model's detail is so toylike, as your scratchbuilt elements are brilliant.

Those are some great builds...I'm really partial to the KDR30

I've been busy re-mastering my 2T-G. I used the block, tranny, and carbs from the T-C I did eariler, re-worked my original head, and made a completely new timing cover.

Old (red valve cover) compared to my new one:

Wandering through the local supermarket i noticed these hotwheels....

i hadn't noticed an AE86 in them before- apologies if it's well known
Image

Here in Oz, many are hunting down the yellow XB Falcons. Saw it in a box of 10 and grabbed it for a look, and noticed the 2nd colour in 370z is in there....... haven't seen it in any other packaging yet.....
Image

Here's the white 510- pinched this pick off a fellow from another forum - i haven't seen one in the flesh yet.
