If you ignition system is stock, it is not electronic. It has points.

And you can not buy new spark plug wires. Anywhere.

If yours are bad you must either buy good used wires from Tim at Merciless Mings, or make them yourself (not easy).

mine aren't bad. i was just wondering if i could fine them i saw on another site some one who changed them to red ngk wires. there kind of hard to change but it had every thing pic by pic on this site but i forgot what the site was. ya me and Tim talk all the time I'm at his shop every other weekend i just picked up 2 n600s of of him a few mouths ago. but ill let you guys know if i find the site.

Not true. If you convert the coil it is easy to get a set. Harley makes a 'custom plug wire kit' that can be used... just need crimp tool.

What datsun freak probably ment was that if you use the original coil you have to make your own replacemnt wires. I've done it, its a pain but it just takes time. If you use an updated replacement part sure you can mod the wires like you have shown. BTW do you have a part number on that coil in the pictures for future reference?

Sounds good at idle! Don't run it too much without the cooling shrouds.

but wouldnt the motor run cooler since the air would be hitting the motor directly?

Cooling shrouds really do help direct air across the fins to evenly cool the motor. Maybe on a cool day its not an issue but start ciry drving it and it will need that extra cooling.

heres some up dates have posted anything for a while ive been trying to get the car driveable.

im putting the gas tank back in and putting new fuel lines they where all clogged with old gas that was dried up ill post pics of every thing on soon.

more updates. i stripped the tar from the floors out. im going to undercoat the floors and dyno matt. i also grinded down the welds on the headers i still have to get it dipped in plaster and then heat wrap it.

heres some more up dates i took the bride out of my s2000 and im modding it in to the 600 for niesi week coming up. i still have to make brackets for it and also moding a hub for my nardi wheel.

heres some more updates I put the fule lines in put the gas tanks on with a new floter. got a regulator for the fule becuse i put a lil powerful fule pump. i also droped the front abought 3 inches im getting my heat wrap today and some outher parts. i need to find lowering block for the rear dose anyone know where i can get this?
