Hi guys, I'm quite new to the site. I'm just wondering where I could possibly get a new engine mount, OEM or better yet .. one of those urethane mounts for my 1974 Dodge Colt, Mitsubishi Colt Glant or GC Galant in AU I think, it has a 1.6 Saturn engine. I could use a pair though 'coz the left side has several cracks on it and the right side has started to flake off. thanks. :)

I'm surprised, but Auto Zone actually has them...

...and if you're replacing both motor mounts, you may as well replace the tranny mount at the same time - especially while they have those in stock too. :tu::D

I don't know if that's exactly what it looks like or not. Does it look like the one that's mounted to the crossmember and transmission of your car?

not quite sure, haven't seen it yet. Is there any other way to tell if it needs a replacement, I mean aside from looking at it?

...and the fact that if the two main insulators look as bad as you say they do, my guess would be that the third insulator will look as bad - if not worse, as it has been working harder to compensate for the other two -- and all three rubber parts are 35 years old.

hmm... well just to be sure, I'll have the mechanic look into it. thanks. :)
would've been great if they made urethane engine mounts for this application.

That is what the transmission mount looks like. 4 speed and automatics are different so get which you need.
I have not seen good trans mount in a car in years, they tend to sag letting the transmission set onto the crossmember.
