Nice collection of Toyotas !
LOVE THE WAGON !
at some point in my life I was in the same way with old Chevys (Novas, Camaros especially)
then my obsessions turned into AC Cobra replicas (as you can see in my signature), this obsession still goes strong, but I am going to be turning my attention or at least part of it towards old Japanese Cars.
I just acquired a 1973 Corona Wagon, similar to yours but as you said yours is a MKII, mine is a Corona. bought it with the intention of doing an engine swap, but after researching and then finding this thread and looking at what you have done I think I want to go in the same direction.
I need to put this car under my name first (I just got it yesterday) and then I'll start taking it apart.
can you share with me images of your suspension?
and frame work?
(if so, you can email me at: 427427 at gmail dot com)
I haven't done anything to mine and it sits as the pictures show right now.

While I do like the engine you have in there, it would be easier for me to get a crashed New car and transplant everything into it, I've done it before with a New Mustang into an older kind, and it worked out really well.
Obviously I need to research on what donor cars would work with it.
BTW, this is my first post !
thanks !
