I know an '83 Accord stock rim is a 13X5, but is it a 4X100 or 4X120 or something different?

4x100.

As are basically all of the '80s Hondas. Accords went to 4x114.3 around 89-90, as did the Prelude. Civic stayed 4x100 until past 2000.

Sweet....do you know what size 15" rim will fit without rubbing? I will stick with stock height. I am not lowering it at all.

Any one of the thousands of 15x7 +40 wheels should work a treat.

One of our fine members here has the Acura Integra 15x6.5 "fat 5s" on his and it looks dynamite, even at stock ride height.

That's awesome. Now, I will try and find a 15X7 4X100 slotted mag. Maybe I will have some luck on eBay.

By the way, Datsunfreak, when is the next gathering of Jap cars in Ft. Worth?

You can take a mic/tools to a yard and look to see what the spindle differences between the 5-lug acura's and your accord.
I always wanted to do that to a early 86/87 accord hatch.

It should be 4/100 for anything from 80 on up to the late 80's.
The accord went to a larger pattern then. 4/113.5 or 4/4 1/2"

Depending on where you live there should be tons of 'old school' rims out there. You may have to clean them up or fix them in some way, but there out there..

Oh man, my car actually is lowered on like only 1 of 2 pairs of Eibach springs in existence for that car! Yes, I know it's subtle, only 1.3 inches, but you should have seen it at actual stock ride height.

You can fit pretty much any Honda 4x100 rim on it, anything that will fit a Civic should fit the car just fine. The only place you really have to worry about for rubbing issues with some wide rims / tires would be the spring perch. It's VERY close with 205s on it. I can't even fit a finger between the tire and perch. However, the perches are beefy enough that you should be able to notch it a little bit around the tire if need be.

If you pick up the Konis for the car like I have (wich are inserts), you can use the bodies to weld on some coilover sleeves before you slide in the new shock cartridges. It should eliminate the huge spring perches... That is what I am planning on doing soon. Definitely needs more lowering! There is TONS of room around your front fenders, and should be plenty around your rears as well. With those wheels, they're actually in the fenders about an inch in the rear.

It's funny you mentioned springs.. I have a pair of 79-81 rear springs for a 4dr though that I never mounted and have been dragging around with me for decades..
