Some may know what I refer to. I have had 3 bend in the same spot, be it my locale or what have you. I am curious to know if anyone has one out of a loyale and for a 4wd? The loyales seem to hang on the longest. I have many 1980s subaru parts to trade. For now I am just going to weld it stronger than subaru, like the rest of the car already doubled+ over. Local pickup in maine or nh, ma would be quite ok.

I ended up welding via surface and spring rods, to learn it would have broke another oem version. the "crazy" sube has 3 modes in the diff through the lever of AWD.

So, I keep my ugly masterpiece... WELDED.

Didn't even catch this lol. But hey at least your learning on how to maintain it through welding and such, you can even "beef" it up by welding some plate on there too.

I found 60k psi welds even needs to age like wine. the car gained rake and camber...*after* the second year of welding, all by itself.
I have called steel a mystery, the old sube is a learning experience. To ponder all movements..the car is much like an animal, very very independent all the way around. Getting it right is priceless...



Admitting some things cannot stay OE is by no means ashame.
